Snoots Dwagon / Wayfinder Wishbringer

Joined:  Sometime in 2009, shortly after Inworldz was formed

Why it's been special:  When Elf Clan came to Inworldz in 2010, Second Life offered 15,000 prims at $195 to $350 a month... and the worst customer service ever.   Inworldz offered 45,000 prim sims for $75.   At the time Inworldz was the only grid outside of Second Life that had group communications working and had "coalesced inventory" (unlinked inventory would rez accurately instead of several chunks in a pile).   It was literally the only option at the time.  When Elf Clan arrived Inworldz consisted of 14 regions, 13 of those company-owned.  We brought not only our group but our friends as well.   In 30 days Inworldz reached 200 regions.  In 60 days 500 regions.  1,000+ regions by the end of the year.  That was something to see happen.

Elf Clan grew from extremely limited lands on SL to ultimately 54 full regions on Inworldz, plus many Scenics.  As we spread out group activity became less centralized, but our builds and creations far exceeded anything we'd ever achieved before.   We created things that had never been possible on SL, such as the region-wide scifi exhibit Replicant City, the fantasy-based Land of Lar, a reproduction of the Firefly space ship that was 1,000 prims, 105m long, all in one object... and could fly very well.  That doesn't even touch on all that Elf Clan created over 8 years time.

Inworldz was a builder's paradise.  Yes, it had some significant flaws, but so do all virtual worlds.  It benefits no one to dwell on the negatives.  Elf Clan accomplished more on Inworldz than we ever dreamed possible.  Inworldz was a world virtually without griefers, a far more peaceful environment, and for a while at least, considerably faster and more stable than even Second Life.   That sadly all came to an end, but while it lasted it was pretty fantastic.  I fear that is an age that has passed.

Where to contact me:   I can be contacted on Second Life if my IMs don't cap (SL name:  Eren Padar or Wayfinder Wishbringer).  You can also contact me by IM on Kitely.  A notecard dropped to my SL profile is the most assured way of getting a message to me.  Visit our website for latest Elf Clan information:
