Astoria Luminos

I joined InWorldz on August 14, 2010.    It was the first place I really got into making my own creations.   There have been so many wonderful people, places, groups, events.  I will cherish all the memories.  I am grateful to have been a part of it all.   Here are a few of my memories ...

Above photo was from the first party we had at our region, on my Meadow parcel, in October 2010.  All the guys had that same freebie elf outfit :D

The Sidhevairs came to InWorldz soon after we did.  Wonderful Faelven community

One of the first things I did in InWorldz was make an ice skating arena in the sky.  It started out as a building platform and then somehow mountains sprouted around the edges and next thing I knew I had a year round winter haven, which has continued to present.

Castle Marlar, in its early days.   A truly amazing region.

My first InWorldz birthday party, circa 2011

One of the many wonderful Gypsies of InWorldz camps  - 2013.  This one was in Gaelach Evermore.

Re the above video, my friend Maerian had a machinima project a few years ago, for which she recreated some of the scenes from Peer Gynt.  I was Anitra in this one.  :)

As many know, I enjoy dancing wherever I go.  This moment was from 2014, a quiet dance with Zab in his Heliste region.

I thought I would end with a couple of photos that I took on my estate today.  The above is my druid circle, which has appeared in various incarnations from about 2013.  A "solstice" version of it was auctioned to the lovely MidnightRain Glas at Winter Fest that year.

And finally, this is the fae cabin I built, where I spent much time in contemplation when I first arrived in 2010, now converted to mesh, and where I will spend some of my time before the end. It seems fitting.  I will always fondly remember my peaceful InWorldz home.

I have so many wonderful memories and images from my time in IW.  It was difficult to decide what to include.  Thank you for allowing me to share some of them with you.

So many of our "big" events have been documented by talented folk such as Teal Freenote, Rig Torok, Benski Trenkins and other, and posted on video and photo sharing sites.  I do urge you to seek those out, and hope that some of them will be linked to here.

I have avatars (same name) in several other VWs such as Discovery Grid, Kitely, GCG, Sine Space and of course SL, among a few others I have probably forgotten, I hope my friends from IW will feel welcome to add me there if they wander in.

May good fortune follow us all,
Astoria Luminos
