quadrapop Tree
Inworldz provided me with a viable virtual world art platform where the low costs enabled me to create virtual, not possible in Real Life artwork on a scale, and with a freedom of experiment that was not possible back in Second Life. For example my "Lonely Tower" work would have cost up of 5000L to even begin to create, because of the very number of in world images images I had to take. Simply not having to pay for each and every texture as I experimented with effects was liberating. Add to that the prim limits on the sim being twice that of SL, meant that I could keep out multiple versions of very complex builds as i thought and considered what to do with each. For the same investment in SL i was unable to even keep even one such build out at a time AND still have a full gallery on show for visitors and purchasers.
IW also became the place I met and got to know some extraordinary people, some close friends and was able to take part in community and art related events.
The open communication of Tranq, Jim and other members of the IW dev team deepened my technical understanding of not just IW but SL as well, making me a more effective mentor on both grids.

Look on any OS grid you go to for quadrapop Tree - drop an IM on my profile there if you want to stay in touch. I have several accounts on hypergrid enabled grids (most begun before there WAS a hypergrid. I use mostly my OS Grid account to hop grids.
In SL (where I tend to socialise and mentor at present) I am quadrapop Lane. Feel free to IM me there as well. If you return to SL and need a home point come check out my parcel (in my picks) where we can have a cuppa and a chat.
